Let's not follow the lead of Israel and the United States in subjugating the Palestinian people and in doing their level best to destroy Palestine. Uphold every right for the Palestinians we grant to any oppressed people or group, the right to rebel being first among them. Oppose dogmatic thinking and move beyond the Zionist myths in order to achieve real human rights regardless of race, religion or continent of origin in Palestine/Israel.

AMERICAN POLICY WONKS AND MEDIA HEADS IGNORE THE WORSENED SIEGE OF GAZA
One of the objectives of the Israeli invasion and bombardment of Gaza was to intensify the siege. For three weeks the Palestinians have been under bombardment as their supply lines were either blockaded by the Israelis as usual along with the connivance of the Egyptian dictator, Mubarek. Major efforts were made to destroy the emergency tunnel system which was providing some life giving supplies to the 1.4 million people of Gaza. Now the Israeli invaders have scurried back to their suburban lifestyles. Gaza is more isolated and under siege than ever.
Of course, no one in the corporate and pro-imperialist media talks about the siege of Gaza and the West Bank and frankly it seems that we usually have one or more Zionists doing all the talking. PBS and NPR have really ignored the massacres in Gaza with the exception of BBC to some extent. Indeed, even these more informative sources of information usually repeat Israeli talking points instead of covering the news. What is the percent of Zionists at these publicly financed news organizations?
When will Americans pay attention to reality? The siege is crucial to understanding the nature of Israel and its allies. It is a crime against humanity and a war crime. We can't ignore the siege of Palestine, including Gaza and be talking about anything but Israeli and American imperialist talking points.
With more than 11oo or is it 1200 slaughtered by the Israli war machine and only fifty of them fighters we have to speak out and demand that the happily chatty "journalists" of NPR and PBS get off their lazy intellectual behinds and start covering facts in the real world instead of repeating Israeli talking points ad infinitum!

MORE THAN 1100 DEAD AND THE US MEDIA IS VIRTUALLY SILENT
Yesterday the UN Headquarters in Gaza was burned to the ground and two hospitals set on fire. Israel has slaughtered more than 11oo Palestinians to to constructive end. Shine light on the crimes of Israel and the pro-Israel lobby which virtually has cut off information about Israeli crimes. This is because of the uncritical pro-Israeli lobby having such influence over time and particularly the clever way the holocaust of Jews has been used to justify (in a completely irrational and immoral way) the conquest of Palestine and the murder or expulsion of the native Palestinians.
For the Palestinians it has been sixty years of a living hell being subjected to the brutal rule of European settlers posing as the owners of the land they conquer by fire and brimstone.
Look at the blog online if you can and follow the other blog links for a variety of perspectives on how to oppose and expose the Israeli aggression and oppression of the Palestinians.
We need to oppose the reintroduction of settlers into Gaza and to continue to oppose the siege and invasion of Gaza. Shine the light on the crimes of the Zionist oppressor!

ISRAELI HAS NO MORAL AUTHORITY
Israel has killed, massacred and murdered almost four hundred Palestinians. Crucially, American politicians and the rich of all religious beliefs are silent about the carnage or even endorse it. They say being friends with the state of Israel is the policy of the empire, aka the United States, and that such a friendship is built upon pile after pile of Palestinian corpses, as usual.
So how is it that the smaller massacre in Mumbai was a big crime, a horrible terrorist attack worthy of fierce condemnation and this far greater massacre by the nation of Israel is something else? It doesn't make sense and I think that if you believe otherwise that you are essentially irrational and hypocritical. You are also probably a Zionist or someone who has become extremely biased and brainwashed by Zionist, ie. pro-Israeli state propaganda. Of course, if you are just biased because of the one-sided information we get about Palestine/Israel then you really don't have a clue as to what is going on. Does it matter that you are ignorant? I think it does, but do you?
The massacre in Mumbai was bad and condemned by all, but the the Mumbai attack was largely symbolic. Nothing of substance was destroyed. Israel has, on the other hand destroyed or endeavored to destroy the lifelines that the Palestinians had created to survive despite the Israeli attempts to starve them out. This siege has been the really big crime, targeting 1.5 million Palestinians for starvation, denial of medicines, medical care, potable water, jobs, income, sovereignty, education, electricity and all the accoutrement of civilization. The siege against Palestine, like that against Iraq is a genuine and already used weapon of mass destruction. Siege, sanctions that starve and torture more than a million people is a crime far worse than even this terrible massacre which is far worse than Mumbai, far worse, and yet uncondemned by the capitalists of all kinds. Yet that criminal siege, like that conducted by the United States against Iraq, killing a million people remain off the table for discussion.
This massacre and destructions of what little remains of the Palestinian infratructure is being ignored and Israel is being given a free pass. No doubt the Israelis hope that by making life almost impossible in Palestine for the Palestinians, at least, that they will leave. It is Nakbar II!
Most of the Palestinians have been forced out of Palestine by military force or military terror. The Israelis, consumate fools to the end, insist that these Palestinians can never return to their homeland! It is a fundamental violation of international law.
All peoples have the right to return under international law and the Zionist state has even justified its conquest and "right of return" and say anyone they agree is Jewish can live there, but not the real residents. They have to be expelled. Yes, the people of Palestine who possessed the land and were expelled by these same European settlers are denied the right they clearly have!
So the state of Israel looks pretty unjust and oppressive. They massacre Palestinians and think it is just great! They expel the Palestinians and say they can't return! So if you are a complete hypocrite, denying the rights to your brother than you take for yourself you have no moral authority and that is the way Israel is and has been and will continue to be until it recognizes the unalienable rights of the Palestinian people. I don't see Israel becoming a just nation. I wish it would become one but it is fundamentally a white settler state trying to implement a cruel apartheid system and expel forever all the Palestinians they can.

LET THE LIGHT SHINE ON THOSE WHO WANT NUCLEAR WAR AND WHO MASSACRE THE PEOPLE OF GAZA, GO IN PEACE
The Palestinian people have the rights all people have, or they should. Israel has decided otherwise. Today as I write the people of Gaza are in dire straights facing starvation, the denial of medical care and the termination of their water and energy resources.
Without the support of the United States this siege of more than a million people would not be happening and without the support of American clergy and congregations this would not be happening.
We need to demand that the clergy of every religion, denomination and faith based group step up and defend the right of the Palestinian people to food, water and the basic human rights all human beings deserve. Basta Ya! End the Siege of Palestine!
We must go in peace to all persons of faith to testify for and on behalf of the Palestinians. Their lives are in the hands of America's faithful and they must know the truth. They must know the truth if they say they are Christian. They must know the truth about the Palesinians if they are Jewish. and they must know the truth whatever their religion whether it be Abrahamic or not, denomination or faith based organization.
In particular those who have fooled themselves or allowed themselves to be misled in the religious communities need to be engaged in constructive dialogue and representation. Collective punishment is always a crime, isn't it?
The collective torture, starvation, deprivation, imprisonment, brutalization and murder of more than a million people is wrong and it is wrong for our clergy and tens of millions of their parishoners to silently proceed about their endless musings of the ancient texts when our brothers and sisters are on the verge of death. Let the light shine on those murdering the Palestinians and let the people of America see the truth at last.
We all are Palestinians!
OPPOSE THE INVASION OF GAZA WITH MASS CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
The criminal siege of Gaza has now been followed by a new Israeli conducted Mumbai-like massacre including the murder of the Chief of Police in Gaza. The head of one anti-terror police agency was murdered by the ten terrorists in Mumbai earlier in the month. As I write the morning of December 27th the Israelis have murdered between one hundred and two hundred Palestinians but have required tens of millions of dollars and American F-16s to carry out their massacre.
Israel has declared this is part of a full scale invasion of Gaza and an effort to destroy Hamas, the elected government of Gaza. Meanwhile many Israelis want to expel the Palestinians from all of Palestine in much the way that they expelled Palestinians or killed them during the much misrepresented founding of Israel.
Mass civil disobedience should challenge the pro-war, pro-invasion constituency here in the United States especially those organizations and churches that support this mass murder of Palestinians and who have remained silent during the genocidal starvation of the entire people of Gaza.
Nonviolence is crucial because the Zionist aggressors want to escalate the violence. Nonviolence, resoluteness and educational efforts are crucial.
The Israeli-American strategy is to subjugate and/or expel the Palestinian people from all of Palestine. It may also include a plot to foment nuclear war between Pakistan and India. Israel and India are now military allies. Ironically the current Israeli regime and Al Qaeda may both want these terrible crimes against humanity as part of their own military strategies. Both Al Qaeda and American/Israeli imperialist aggression must be condemned by nonviolent educational and protest efforts. Immediately!

GO IN PEACE WITH THE LIGHT OF UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE TO ALL PLACES OF WORSHIP TO DEFEND THE RIGHTS OF THE PALESTINIANS
The Palestinian people have the rights all people have, or they should. Israel has decided otherwise. Today as I write the people of Gaza are in dire straights facing starvation, the denial of medical care and the termination of their water and energy resources.

WHY AN ISRAELI OFFENSIVE AGAINST GAZA?
Why is Israel attacking Gaza with more ferocity than before, seeking to join those who throughout the ages who have persecuted and starved millions as a matter of state policy. Is it to set the precedent of Israeli impunity as we transition to a new President? Is this the way it is and always must be? Must Israel continue its endless efforts to drive the Palestinians from Palestine and to prevent their return to their homeland?
It seems to me that Israel continues to use the accusation of terrorism regarding relatively minor Palestinian attacks to justify the persecutions, starvation and even murder of the Palestinian people at large. This is not justice and if Obama supports this siege of Palestine he too is a criminal because without United States support this siege would not be happening.
If the Palestinians have any friends I don't see them in evidence. It is as if the whole world has written them off. This doesn't mean that Israel will prevail in its efforts to create an even larger Israel. Ultimately the Jews and Palestinians will sit down and the same table and wonder why peace took so long to come to. Israeli intransigence and hostility to the Palestinian people is the fundamental obstacle to peace.
Currently the parties could easily agree on a just peace. It isn't clear that the Israeli's will ever be ready for peace. They basically demand peace before their is a peace, a tall order and one they work tirelessly to make impossible. Too many of them are just unwilling to abandon the idea of taking every square inch of Palestine. Religious delusions rule despite widespread rejection of the fundamentalist notions that animate
aggressive settlers and politicians alike.
